We offer 3D printing services for medical applications. Our printers can be placed inside a ISO Class 7 cleanroom for implants or outside the cleanroom for low risk prints. We have or can obtain the following 3D printing technologies.
- Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) or also called fused filament fabrication (FFF)
- High temperature FDM or also called PEEK printing
- Solvent cast 3D printing.
- Nylon selective laser sintering (SLS)
Applications of medical devices
3D printed Implants
We can print bone implants, cartilage implants or other innovative implants. This can be done with medical grade filaments, made at Vosfox Medical.
3D printed Surgical Guides
With our SLA printers, using dental resins, or using FDM printers with FibreTuff, we can make surgical guides. Both materials have excellent biocompatibility and can be sterilized. We can print the guides in a Class 7 cleanroom, preventing contamination.
Low volume parts
If you sell medical equipment in limited numbers per year and you need a plastic part, than injection moulding might be too expensive and 3D printing your solution.
Medical models can be made with an SLA printer, resulting in smooth, nice looking models. If the bone model requires to act as a bone (can be cut with a saw or screws placed in it, We can make models using an FDM or SLS printer using FibreTuff. See here for more information
